I’m Marco, a new dad, an architect, and the person my friends, my colleagues and my family all call when they have an idea or are stuck with something AI. My first “aha” was ChatGPT in 2022. Since then I’ve spent less time chasing that feeling for myself and a lot more time helping others unlock their moment. I anticipate you’re inundated with applicants, so I made this Intro video instead to show you why I’m the right person for your AI Adoption Specialist role.

Your need is my niche. You already have AI built into your team and processes. So, where do I come in? I'm all about people and providing a conduit between the technical and the individual. Here to ensure your entire team all rise together, navigating AI adoption with the latest systems, build AI champions and knowledge hubs within sub teams, help connect departments, create compelling content that teams will refer to on the go. I'll make sure every team member, new and nervous or polished and proficient, feels supported and confident every step of the way.

ARCHITECT TO AI

I've been a tech optimist since I was a kid, always playing with the latest software, itching my curiosity and excitement. After gaining an A+ for my Masters in Architecture at uni, I started applying my interest in tech by investing into exciting innovation companies. Having skin in the game means I keep up to date on the industry, and it's inevitably led me to AI. Over the last four years my passion for the future of AI and how it can empower people has outgrown my interest in architecture

INTERSECTION OF ARCHITECTURE AND AI ADOPTION SPECIALIST

Architecture at its core is relationship building and communication, with a building at the end of it. Facilitating large design teams and client meetings, all with different agendas and levels of technical fluency, is an environment I thrive in. My role is to understand their needs, inspire them, get them excited about my design and bring them along on the journey. That's where the real magic happens: everyone aligned working towards a shared goal and successful delivery. Translating and simplifying complex ideas is a skill I've honed over my 11-year career. Understanding the outcome, then breaking it down into digestible, accessible language and visuals is critical for learning, and that takes experience and design, both of which I bring to the table. But content is only half of it. Effective communication, storytelling, and warmth are what makes people connect and pay attention. Listening, making sure someone feels heard, can shift someone's experience entirely.

WHAT I HAVE BUILT

Building an agentic architecture studio that takes care of the high-friction jobs so the team can focus on strategic, creative work. Co-founding an e-commerce NZ skincare brand sitting on an AI brain system I designed and built, that evolves weekly based on the business needs. Helping a structural engineering firm create tools to integrate into their real daily workflows to streamline work and save time. Integrating AI into my 74-year-old dad's tutoring business.

Day to day I'm in Claude Code in VS Code. I've worked across the frontier labs, most of the image and video models, n8n and Fireflies.

At heart I'm a people person. I get my energy from relationships and creating positive change. Let's make Manukora buzz, with AI built people-first.
